Here at Paladone, we’re mad about March and there are some very exciting events coming up in the month ahead that we’re dying to share with you all.
International Women’s Day, March 8th– This year the hashtag was #eachforequal to promote action for equality and to remember that “an equal world is an enabled world”. This day celebrated the achievements of women who have fought for equal opportunities around the globe. Let us know if you shared anything special to stand up to in-equality on this day. St Patrick’s Day, March 17th– This global celebration of Irish culture is not one to miss. Get green gear and copious amounts of Irish drinks at the ready. Don’t rely on a four-leaf clover for your party to be a success, browse our range of intoxicating drinking games to get into the spirit.
If, like us, you’re based in Brighton then we would recommend celebrating in one of the many fantastic Irish pubs in the area. For a truly authentic experience we would suggest: Molly Malone’s, The Fiddler’s Elbow, or The Bugle Inn.

Disney+ Launch, March 24th -This month sees the UK launch of this game-changing new streaming service, which will include every movie from Disney, Marvel, Fox, Pixar, and LucasFilm in one destination. This encompasses some huge collections such as Star Wars, The Avengers, The Simpsons, The Mandalorian, Toy Story, Frozen, and Avatar. Alongside these, it will also have 500 other movies and more than 7,500 TV show episodes. Fans can get super excited as Disney+ exclusives will feature Marvel’s long awaited WandaVision, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and Loki projects. On top of this, it offers most of its content in 4K resolution streaming so all your favorite shows will be available in the highest quality.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order DLC Release, March 26th– We are on the edge of our seats for the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order DLC Pack 3 to come out. The Fantastic Four will join alliance to take on Doctor Doom in the third DLC pack. This ultimate team contains the new additions of Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. It follows on from the previous DLC packs Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire and X-Men: Rise of the Phoenix. Check out the wicked game trailer here.
Mulan, March 27th – Finally, this live-action feature film based on Disney’s 1998 animation Mulan is coming to cinemas. Directed by Niki Caro, this remake is rumored to contain some epic battle sequences supported by a whopping $200 million budget. We cannot wait to see this warrior Princess return to our screens to fight villains and gender stereotypes simultaneously. Mulan also has an extremely talented cast, starring Liu Yifei and Yoson An as love interests. Get your popcorn at the ready for this unmissable movie and in the meantime, tuck into the trailer:
