When it comes to Christmas we start to focus on gift ideas for friends and family and it can be hard to come up with a unique and interesting gift idea that hasn’t been done before. As the years have gone on our usual high street shops here in Brighton have started setting up gift sections that they wheel out especially for Christmas which usually consist of fun and quirky gifts that provide you with something that is a little bit different to the standard stocking fillers.

1 – Western Rd, heading West
Heading west on Western road you will find shops such as Marks and Spencer’s where you can combine your Christmas gift shopping with your Christmas food shopping, for those who are in to tech and gadgets you are sure to find something suitable in Currys PC world and we are sure you can find gifts for everyone in Argos. 3 – Western Rd, heading East
Going back the way you came and this time heading East on Western Road you will find another array of shops that have designated gift sections such as Superdrug which is a great place to buy perfume and make up gift sets and card factory that always have a wide range of Christmassy stocking fillers. For gift shopping on Western Road heading East make sure you check out:

4 – front parade of Churchill Square (don’t go inside, that comes later!) curving round to North Street
North Street is home to many stores that have designated Christmas gift sections but it is definitely the place to go if you are looking for gifts for book lovers as there is a WH Smith and a Waterstones for you to choose from. BHS always has an excellent selection of gifts and stocking fillers for people of all ages and Body Shop is a great place to purchase quality body and skin care products. 5 – turn right on to Ship Street
Heading on to Ship Street you will find TK Maxx which is well known for having a wide variety of options when it comes to gift shopping, we are sure you will be able to find something to suit everyone. 6 – turn right again, you’re heading back towards Churchill Square now
Heading back toward Churchill Square you will find Heals which is a store based over 5 floors that contains a large amount of homeware gift ideas.

7 – pedestrianised road, last chance for food/beer before Churchill Square
Before you get to Churchill Square you will come across a couple of shops that sell novelty and quirky gifts and another shop selling novelty gift cards which allows you to get everything you need for your humorous family and friends all in one place.

8 – Churchill Square
The Churchill Square shopping centre is full of shops where you can carry out your Christmas gift shopping. Mankind is ideal if you are looking for quirky gadget gifts or if you are looking for CDs and DVDs then make sure you pop in to HMV. For the younger ones, the Lego shop is the ideal place to carry out your Christmas shopping and if you are looking for jewellery then H Samuels is where you need to be.
