This week Paladone HQ sprung to life with a celebration of Spring, Easter and unhealthy food. With a winter that dragged and the Beast from the East ravaging our home on the South coast, the arrival of Spring has been warmly welcomed and worked its way throughout the office, thanks to some fantastic decorations from our HR Department (images below).

An Easter-themed bake-off was held and well attended, with about 20 entries feeding 60 members of staff, topped up with a sneaky Dominos order to balance out the sweet to savory balance. Attendees made a donation at the door to our house charity Chestnut Tree House, Sussex’s Children’s Hospice for children and teens with life-limiting illnesses, taking us £225 closer to this years fundraising target of £6850 (to pay for 1 full day’s care). Our total funds raised now stands at £2,206!

While faces were being stuffed, HR took the opportunity to present the launch of the brand new Employee Assistance Program (EAP), brought about after last years staff wellbeing survey and designed to provide support and advice for members of staff via phone, app and a website. We’ll write a full blog about the EAP soon, watch this space.

Check out the photos of this brilliant week below, and have a very HAPPY EASTER.
