After several years of unprecedented growth, we’re very proud and excited to be listed at number 36 in what is considered to be the UK’s barometer of private company growth, on the league table that monitors SME Export Growth.

The Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 ranks Britain’s 100 small and medium-sized (SME) companies with the fastest-growing international sales over the latest two years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each February.

SME Export Track 100 - PaladoneThere are various criteria to which a company must adhere, including year-on-year international growth for the last 3 years, a positive operating profit and maximum total sales of £25M.

The export growth has been steady since the management buyout, lead by our MD Graeme Carr, in 2011, and has been bolstered in the last 3 years by significant and rapid growth in the USA, leading to the installation of both a Texas warehousing solution and a Miami office, now with 10 full time staff in situ.

We grabbed Graeme to get his thoughts on the achievement; “We place our success firmly at the door of strong product development that give the US market quality alternatives in a highly competitive market, careful recruitment from within the gift industry based on experience and buyer relationships, exposure through a high-intensity trade show regime and, finally, focussing on working with licensors that are able to give us a global license, rather than just the UK and surrounding territories. I’m so proud of every staff member, globally, as they’ve allplayed their part in this fantastic achievement. We’ll be including every one of them in our celebrations.”

Alongside our listing in the SME Export Track 100 we’re are also celebrating winning the coveted Gift Of The Year award for the 3rd year running, with our ridiculously cool ‘Pet Photobooth’ taking poll position in the Pets category.
